I went to Hayling Island on Saturday for a GBUK regional meeting hosted by Kay Thornhill.
The first member of the family I met was Woody, the labradoodle, very friendly. (The name made me think they were made up cartoon dogs).
I spent a great day with Kay and other lampworkers, sharing techniques and "how to's", and basically getting studio envy.
Then I joined my hubby and friends, who live locally, on the beach for a meal and fireworks. The sea was there, but it was too dark to see it. What a fantastic way to spend the day.
