There's gold in them thar beads

Well, to be more precise - goldstone.
Here are some of the beads i have made recently with goldstone. Another way to introduce shimmer and bling.

That's just plain weird.

OK, its official. I'm a little obsessed with glass!. I am seeing the potential for new beads in all sorts of things.
I saw this and started thinking of glass colour combinations.
Its a bruise on poor hubbys leg!

Challenging

 First of all, there has been a problem with the blog and uploading photos. Well, managed to finally get to the bottom of that.

The following is the same bead with with the flash on, and the second taken without flash in natural daylight coming through the window. Neither of the pictures is really true to the real thing. Photographing the beads is still the biggest challenge for me (well the biggest challenge after the bead is actually finished).
I am going to go to an evening course later this month, with a professional photographer, to see if I can do anything to improve the situation.
So in the meantime, you get what you get :-)
